miniboox board

This week, we made a some cards using the miniboox board from keepsake.A beautiful heart shaped card under the theme cards with love in mind.We used a lovely textured dark red card, gold border peel-offs. The card was embellished with red bridal flowers and organza ribbon. We also made a box to match decorated with overlapping hearts.

The other card was a mini book a trix, made in blues and silvers.Embellished with flowers, border peel-offs and organza ribbon. Both cards were quite quick and easy to do, but very effective.

christmas in january

Hi everyone, this my first attempt at blogging, so please be patient with me.My 13yr old son is helping me get started,so hopefully soon i will get the hang of it!

Last year, due to popular demand we decided to continue with Christmas cards in January, this proved very popular. So we continued the theme this year as well, unfortunately due to the snow, the stamp shack was inaccessible.Classes only started up again a week ago, so we had to cram in more than usual amount of classes into the last week of January.

Yesterday's class we used the advent calendar stamp set by Woodware.Everyone achieved three beautiful cards. Two of the cards were quick & easy, the other was a little more fiddly.Everyone enjoyed the class and were very proud of there cards. These are the three advent cards made at Friday's class.

This is the advent calendar, with the doors open, so you can see the images inside.

This was a very quick card with 9 different images, cut out and mounted with 3d foam pads.

Another quick card, done in rows of three, matt and layered, with greeting stamped top and bottom.

The advent doors, at a slightly opened angle, all images coloured with promarkers.

I hope you have enjoyed my first post,i hope this will be the first of many.
